Q. Why does the screen not appear after inserting a test strip ?

A. Various causes may lead to this situation.

• The batteries inserted incorrectly or lacking in the battery compartment – please insert the batteries or new batteries in the correct position again.
• The batteries are exhausted – these batteries are insufficiently power to turn on the meter. The meter will not be able to operate the test until you replace or charge these batteries.
• Test strip inserted upside down or not completely inserted – please reset the test strip in the correctly slot with the contact bars end first and facing up.

 

Q. What does the battery symbol “ ” or “ ” displays mean on the screen ?

A. Battery power is insufficient to perform a test – you may need to be replacing it or Charge the battery.

Battery symbol is flashing on the LCD screen – the batteries are insufficiently power to operate the meter. The meter will not operate until replace or charge the batteries.

 

Q. How often do I need to replace my batteries?

A.When you change the new and fully batteries, these batteries life will be able to provide up to 1000 determinants of blood glucose meter and 200 determinants of blood pressure meter, depending on the brand of your power source. For additional information, please kindly see “owner’s manual” in each model. When the battery nearly exhausted, the battery symbol will appears on the screen to warn you, replace the batteries as soon as possible.

 

Q. What is the brand of the battery fits the meter ?

A.Our meters fit a CR2032 3V or two AAA 1.5V or four AA 1.5V. The battery can be purchased in most stores, such as retail stores, convenience stores, pharmacy, or supermarkets.

 

Q. Why doesn’t my meter turn on ?

A.If your Meter will not turn on, please check that the batteries are securely in place and making the proper connection. The battery can be dislodged if the meter has been dropped, or if the battery has been changed but not fitted properly. Sometimes, however, it is just that the battery has run out. There is a warning to let you know that the battery is low.

A.The lifespan of a battery will vary considerably with how it is used, how it is maintained and charged, temperature, and other factors.

Q. How can I do when the meter shows “Error message” on the screen?

A.

Error message Describes the situation Solution E-b/ Err 36 The batteries are insufficiently power to operate the meter. The meter will not operate until replace or charge the batteries. You have to replace or charge the batteries soon. E-C/ Err 22 Invalid code strip insertion. E.g. get wrong check/code strip, defective check/code strip. Only use the same brand of code strip which were produced specifically for your glucose monitor. E-U/ Err 24 Inserts a used test strip. Repeat the test with a new test strip. “” Blood sample is input before the symbol for blood blinks. Wait for the “” symbol to blink then re-test using proper amount of blood. E-t/ Err25 The meter or test strip appear when environmental temperature is below system operate range. System operation range is 10~40℃ (50~104℉). Repeat the test after the meter or test strip have reached the above temperature. E-t/ Err 26 The meter or test strip appear when environmental temperature is above system operate range. E-F Remove the strip after applying blood to the absorbent hole. Repeat the test with a new test strip and wait for test result. Lo Poor amount of blood sample or blood glucose value under measurement range 20 mg/dL (1.1mmol/l). 1.Sufficient amount of blood sample and repeat the test with a new test strip. 2.Blood glucose measurement range is 20~600 mg/dL (1.1~33.3 mmol/L). 3. Repeat the test and seek immediate medical attention. Hi Blood glucose value over measurement range 600 mg/dL (33.3mmol/L). Err.01 Cuff serious leakage or inflation too slow. 1.Check cuff is fitted correctly, and also refit cuff tightly and correctly to measure blood pressure again and don’t move your arm during the measurement. 2. If the error message appears again, you will contact with our distributor or us. Err.05 Deflation is too fast. Err.06 Deflation is too slow. Err.07 Systolic outsides the legal range. Err.08 Mean pressure outsides the legal range. Err.02 Cannot figure out systolic. 1.Check cuff is fitted correctly, and also refit cuff tightly and correctly to measure blood pressure again and don’t move your arm during the measurement. 2. If the error message appears again, you will contact with our distributor or us. Err.04 Cannot figure out diastolic or it outsides the legal range. Err.09 Cuff pressure is not enough even if the highest value is pumped. Err.03/ Err.330 Auto inflation cuff didn’t stop until pulsation disappear and more elevated than 300mmHg. Other error message The meter may some defective problems. Repeat the test with a new test strip or repeat measurement. If the error message appears again, you will contact with our distributor or us.
